The Dublin Link Park is home to the Dublin Link, which is “the longest span, single tower S-shaped suspension bridge in the world.” This bridge connects Historic Dunlin to Bridge Park. The bridge is 760 ft. long and its main tower is 169 ft. tall. According to the city’s website, “the landmark represents connectivity and was envisioned for decades”. It was approved in 2007 and it was in 2020 when the bridge was finally built. The bridge is also used to visually represent the city’s initiatives and causes. By lighting the bridge in a certain manner, the city is able to represent that they stand for.
